Ryan Mathias is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer, with a Degree in Exercise Science from California State University-Sacramento (CSUS). He is a competitive powerlifter with over 12 years of training experience, who has successfully squatted 500+lbs and deadlifted 600+lbs in the same competition reaching a 1400+lb total (RAW 220lb Class). He is also a 3rd Degree Black Belt with numerous martial art Grand Champion and World Championship Titles (2007-2010, 2013-2014, 2016). The Mathias Method STRENGTH SYSTEM was developed over his many successes and failures throughout his broad training experiences.
